A large shadow fell, blocking the warm yellow light from above.

In truth, she hoped Jiang Zhu could forgive her, but given his character, he was not someone who easily forgave others. Let alone forgiveness, after she scolded him so harshly this morning, if it weren’t for his self-control, she might have been in serious trouble by now. 

Upon hearing this, Yan Chen looked at her with disdain. “Apologize? You think you deserve to apologize to him?”
