Idol Chapter 198 Part 1: [Long Jue Extra Part 1]

-3-

After this song finished, Huo Ren sat beside the five people, recounting many old stories from the past.

“Usually, in everyday life, First Brother and Third Brother take the most care of us, also bearing the most responsibility.”

He returned to his role as the captain, feeling relaxed and nostalgic.

“When we’re busy with work, we also rely a lot on Brother Yun and Yao Yao.”

Among the five albums released by Crown, there have already been over a hundred successful releases, with thousands more written behind the scenes.

Xie Lianyun was involved in the arrangement of almost all the works, and each stage arrangement was overseen by Mei Shengyao.

They may seem irrelevant on variety shows, but in reality, they have silently devoted too many nights, tirelessly polishing songs that brighten the lives of all six of them.

“Today is also Yao Yaoโ€™s twenty-fourth birthday.” Huo Ren saw Long Jia push out a cake and turned his head to say: “Yao Yaoโ€””

“How is it only twenty-four,” Mei Shengyao sighed: “It can’t be.”

Xie Lianyun reached out to ruffle his hair, laughing: “Silly, let me light the candles for you.”

“Light a few less,” Mei Shengyao still looked the same as ever, helplessly saying: “This is a secret, don’t tell others.”

Tens of thousands of spectators loudly promised: “Wonโ€™tโ€”tellโ€”anyoneโ€””

They sang the birthday song with a smile, accompanying him to blow out the candles.

“I’ve made a good wish.” The young man blinked: “You know what I’m thinking even if I donโ€™t say it.”

The others nodded with smiles.

Yes, they all knew.

“Also, today marks the day when Brother Yunโ€™s songs have reached over ten billion total clicks.” Huo Ren spoke leisurely: “Brother Yun’s output speedโ€””

Xie Lianyun looked puzzled: “Do people actually keep track of that??”

Mei Shengyao was even more confused: “What he writes exceeds ten billion???”

“Adding up several platforms, plus debuting earlyโ€””

Chi Ji grinned and gave a thumbs-up.

Long Jia, with his arm around Xie, earnestly discussed: “Actually, if you count the square dance views too…”

“Thereโ€™s no need to count that!!”

They all laughed again and called out to the band teacher, all huddling around Xie Lianyun to sing “Oh My Heart.”

Someone, with a cold face caught in the middle, trembled slightly in the shoulders.

So embarrassing, damn, what am I even writing usually??!!

After Mei Shengyao’s guitar solo show ended, it was finally time for Long Jia and Bo Jue to move towards the center of the stage.

The crowd below meaningfully teased together: “Yooooooooโ€”โ€””

“Kiss! Kiss!”

“Marry!!! Marry!!! Marry!!!”

There were also indoor spectators holding up banners that read ‘President Long and Professor Bo, may you be together for a hundred years’.

“Actually,” Long Jia coughed lightly: “We just registered our marriage this morning, picked a good day.”

Bo Jue silently gave him a look.

“Ah ah ah ah finally!”

“I’m so happy I can die!!”

“Love song! Love song!! Sing a love song!!!”

Long Jia couldn’t help but laugh at this moment, his many years of affection finally coming to fruition.

He took the initiative to hold Bo Jue’s left hand, playfully coaxing him on the spot: “Professor Bo, will you sing a song with me?”

Bo Jue managed to keep a straight face until then, but now he too broke down, covering his face and laughing.

The band teacher timely started the prelude, and the background shifted to a slideshow of their photos together since their youth.

Photos from their days as trainees in Class A, the rare double dance they performed together on Qingxi Road.

The moments of distant glances across crowds in variety shows, one watching over the other making a wish with eyes closed at a birthday party.

“You are pure white, clear, like the mist after rain.”

“Seeing you brings such joy, even without eye contact, it feels like I can sense your feelings.”

Although both were hiding their smiles, their fingers remained tightly intertwined, their wedding rings reflecting light.

In the past, they only dared to express their feelings in song lyrics, even singing to each other on stage was a risk of exposing their emotions with every look and gesture.

“Heart fluttering, words stumbling.”

“Seeing the morning stars in your eyes, I can’t even say good morning.”

Bo Jue’s voice was soft as he sang, his eyes reddening.

Long Jia stretched out his hand to embrace him, chuckling softly as he continued to sing.

“My morning star… I wish to keep you close to my heart, and drive away the endless vortex of this world.”

Bo Jue, slightly stunned, no longer avoided the gaze, smiling as he looked up at him.

The audience below had completely succumbed, with no resistance left.

[Just married and already showing off their love!! Where is my torch!!!]

[Long Bro, did you prepare this line years ago just to show off like this? You’re too much, you’re not human!!!]

[I can’t even handle it, I want to go out and find someone to fall in love with right nowโ€”]

[What did us single folks do to deserve this?! You’re all targeting me tonight!!!]

As the song ended, the scenery on both sides of the stage was already set up like swirling vortexes.

Mountains facing the sun, rivers reflecting the moon.

Bo Jue publicly kissed Long Jia amidst cheers and screams, then walked towards the ancient guqin on the left side.

“I havenโ€™t played this for a long time.” He bent over to pluck the strings twice, looking up at an old friend who had been waiting for a while.

Xie Lianyun held a phoenix flute in one hand, smiling in response.

They communicated with flute and guqin, thanking each other with their music.

Now, there was no need to play tunes of warlike intent; the competitiveness of their youth had already turned into calm sharpness, like finely carved jade.

The East is indeed magnificent in its melodies, and the West has its deep classical charm.

As they played, they looked at each other, recalling many moments from the past ten years, their eyes warm and smiling.

A kindred spirit, a dear friend.

An honor.

When the last song began, six crowns were brought out.

“In this moment, my eyes see only you.”

“Stubborn, pure, deeply loving you.”

The six crowns had been waiting for many years.

They arrived during the most painful and lost year, a scar once forgotten in the passage of time.

A reward for endless waiting, and also the flowering of six years of hard work.

Huo Ren carefully and gently picked up the crowns, placing them on each brother bound by destiny.

“My soul is a gem.”

“It’s fragile yet resilient, shining eternally just for this moment.”

As he placed the crown on Long Jia’s head, his elder brother chuckled and gently ruffled his face.

The first hug, a blend of strength and protection.

“They invert right and wrong, recklessly slandering.”

“Wishing to turn my heart into a candle.”

Xie Lianyun gazed at the now barely visible scar near his eyebrow, his expression tender.

The second hug, one of enlightenment and illumination.

“All pain… will be cherished as pearls.”

Chi Ji watched him smile through tears, as he carefully placed the pure gold crown on his head.

The third hug, filled with warmth and emotion.

“Your ambition will burn everything like night fire.”

“All chains and obstacles will inevitably turn to ashesโ€””

Mei Shengyao hugged him tightly for a long time, wiping away his tears when they parted, thanking Huo Ren with a heartfelt “thank you.”

The fourth hug, one of companionship and peace of mind.

“And the deep night is but a fleeting moment.”

Bo Jue, tears streaming down, touched his head and took a deep, choked breath before embracing him tightly.

The last hug, embodying persistence and trust.

Huo Ren took a deep breath as he lifted the final crown, turning to look towards Pei Ruye, who stood bathed in a golden glow.

The man quietly awaited at the finish line, his gaze as warm as another kiss.

Tears streamed down his face as he walked towards him.

The sound of heartbeats was almost audible, a promise of eternity already made to each other.

“I am yoursโ€””

They embraced and kissed, crowning each other with their profound love.

“Dreams, and crowns.”

Author’s Note:

Huo Ren has two crowns, one acknowledging his supergroup status, the other acknowledging himself.

But both crowns symbolize nearly a decade of Pei Ruye’s dedication and companionship, so the final act is a crowning of their deep love for each other.
