Lizard’s Decision

Deducting 1000 points?!

Feng Lianzhu’s smile froze on his face. Wasn’t it normal to smile at parting? Even if he was somewhat reluctant, shouldn’t one part ways gracefully and continue to strive for their respective goals?

“Why deduct 1000? According to the previous algorithm, shouldn’t it be 100 per person?” Feng Lianzhu asked.

Could it be because Fat Dragon’s large size meant his score was exceptionally high?

ใ€Points are calculated based on the degree of emotion. PangยทKirates’s sadness far exceeds the happiness of the previous individuals. Please use the “Fake Smiling Boy” skill cautiously.ใ€‘

Feng Lianzhu sighed helplessly. This summoning of PangยทKirates resulted in a significant fluctuation in points.

Originally, PangยทKirates owed 1257 points, brought items from the game world to the starry world -10,000, summoned PangยทKirates -2,000, used full power twice -5,000, used Feng Lianzhu’s skin twice -200, maintained the energy of the little golden dragon -3, transporting the starry world’s warships into the game -10,000, PangยทKirates’s sorrow from parting -1,000.

As Feng Lianzhu calculated the points, he nearly fainted and almost fell onto a pile of gold coins. It was too much!

Originally, Feng Lianzhu had 5,000 points, Fat Dragon controlled himself to gain 10,000, Feng Lianzhu gained 10,000 from understanding emotions twice, and the “Fake Smiling Boy” skill made several teachers happy, earning 400.

After adding and subtracting, their combined points totaled -4,060.

Feng Lianzhu asked the system to transfer his points to PangยทKirates for use, watching their shared points turn negative, he sighed.

Since obtaining the system, his points have never been positive. It was really difficult.

Feng Lianzhu’s junior high studies would start tomorrow, giving him some temporary leisure.

Having rested enough with Fat Dragon, he suddenly found himself free and decided to visit the base to see how Dog 16 managed it.

Actually, the issue of the underground arenas and the pirate Atavists troubled Feng Lianzhu. Unlike Dog 16 and others, their physical wounds might heal, but their mental scars could not be so easily mended.

They were all individuals who had undergone brutal training and might attack the Atavists in the base, treating them as ordinary people regardless of past grievances was not suitable, yet they could not be viewed as criminals either, as they were also victims of their circumstances. It was really troublesome.

Feng Lianzhu wanted to see how Dog 16 had settled these people. He changed into the Golden Winged Dapeng skin, the feather patterns on his clothes turning into two golden wings. This time, Feng Lianzhu did not drive a small flying craft but flew there himself.

The legend of the Dapeng, a single wing span of ninety thousand li, double wings totaling one hundred eighty thousand li, “Voyage in the Void” completely replicated this setting. At level 90, the peak level era, the Golden Winged Dapeng was the topmost and toughest boss because of its speed. Often, during battle, the Dapeng would spread its wings, and just when players thought it was about to unleash a powerful move and scatter, it would flap its wings and move to the other side of the North Sea. By the time players caught up, the Dapeng had enough rest time and was fully revived.

Initially, to contend with the Dapeng, Sword Aiming at the Sky painstakingly practiced sword flying, increasing its speed to nearly match that of the Golden Winged Dapeng, attacking while pursuing, giving the Dapeng no time to rest until teammates arrived.

Sword Aiming at the Sky’s method of combat was too abnormal for ordinary people to imitate, making the Golden Winged Dapeng a boss difficult for players to conquer for a long time.

Until the game introduced formation gameplay, players discovered they could set up formations in advance to trap the Dapeng, preventing it from performing “Instant Thousand Li,” allowing players to easily defeat it.

However, this method was ineffective against Fat Dragon. His speed was faster than that of the Golden Winged Dapeng, and his strength was sufficient to kill the Dapeng in one hit. If not for the desire to pluck the Dapeng’s golden feathers, that Golden Winged Dapeng would probably not survive a second.

After the death of the Golden Winged Dapeng, Feng Lianzhu obtained the skills “Instant Thousand Li” and “Buddha’s Light Illuminates All,” along with the Dapeng skin. From then on, Feng Lianzhu’s own speed surpassed that of battle armors, eliminating the need for transportation.

With a couple of flaps of his wings, he arrived at the base, landing in a tree. He grabbed a handful of the base’s soil and performed “Molding Clay into Humans.” This was actually a reconnaissance skill; Feng Lianzhu could mold a clay figurine, draw eyes and ears on it, and the figurine would serve as his eyes and ears, effectively acting as a live monitor.

In fact, this method isn’t as advanced as surveillance cameras, but the advantage is that the clay figurines can be hidden in any place with soil, such as green belts or flowerpot soil, making them undetectable by interstellar technology.

Feng Lianzhu molded ten clay figurines and sent them to the residences of the newly arrived Atavists, planning to first listen to what these people were doing.

The pirates were the most well-behaved. Like Dog 16, they were abandoned. However, their spaceship was robbed by interstellar pirates before reaching the destination planet, and the transported Atavists naturally became pirates. Interstellar pirates like to recruit Atavists; these children grew up in orphanages, abandoned by their parents, discriminated against by ordinary people, and ultimately abandoned by the alliance. They have no sense of identity with the alliance and many harbor resentment. Once the pirates take them away and instill some vengeful emotions, these Atavists naturally become pirates.

They haven’t been harmed much, as interstellar pirates don’t want to provoke the alliance and rob without killing unless a battle occurs, so they rarely see blood. The pirates are relatively psychologically healthy, have strong qualities, and admire strength. Since submitting to the Kirates dragon, they have been actively building the base. Now, they are the main force in the base’s construction and also help Dog 16 and others train other Atavists, currently coexisting harmoniously.

The new Atavists from the underground arena, like Dog 16 and others, grew up as ordinary children in orphanages. After Dog 16 risked his life to save them from gunfire that day, these newly adult Atavists felt grateful to him and were intimidated by Fat Dragon’s strength on the same day, obediently following commands. Occasionally, a few with the wrong mindset were detected by Dolphin 66, who could sense them and would immediately isolate these unstable individuals for gradual re-education.

The most troublesome were the 100 people from the underground arena. According to the Clown, they also lived in orphanages but special ones. From birth, they were different from other Atavists; the Atavists abandoned typically did not have genes above grade C, while those from the underground arena were often born with grades B and A, and some had unique psychic powers. These children were treated differently, sent to strictly managed orphanages, regularly visited by doctors for blood tests or experiments.

Dolphin 66 was supposed to be among these children, but luckily, his birth doctor did not report his condition, saving his life.

The clay figurine quietly crawled to a pot of green plants and hid in the soil underneath, which happened to be the Clown’s room. After being beaten by Fat Dragon and having fought with Feng Lan, he stubbornly refused treatment, relying on his strong recovery ability, and has been lying in bed for two to three days without going out.

Several Atavists from the underground arena were also in his room, apparently discussing something.

The clay figurine turned over, revealing a hole in the soil, which was the figurine’s ear.

“Lizard, what do you plan to do? Just live here obediently?” An Atavist with two tusks, called Bison, said.

His original name was Pig 91, but it was changed after being taken away by the people from the underground arena.

Lizard didn’t speak; he turned over, back facing the others.

“Life here is quite good. The underground arena has been dealt with, we’re free now. The Primitive Star is all Atavists; there won’t be any more discrimination against us. It’s definitely better than being in the alliance,” Unicorn said. He was a very handsome man, the only difference being a horn on his forehead, somewhat like the mythical unicorn.

“I know,” Bison clenched his fists, “but I don’t think I can stay in such a comfortable environment.”

“I’ll be jealous of those Atavists who grew up in a safe environment,” a woman with a human head and snake body viciously said, “Why do they live so happily? Why haven’t they experienced being flayed alive? Why are they so happy? I know it’s wrong to think this way, but I just want to bite them, inject my venom into their bloodstream, and watch them suffer. I’ve killed so many, ordinary competitors and Atavists like us. Can I really live here properly?”

Feng Lianzhu remembered when he first saw the Snake Woman, she didn’t have a single unharmed spot on her body, her two venomous teeth had been pulled out, her tail and upper body were separated, held together by a metal ring. Someone had cut her in half to study her human and snake parts.

Now they are normal, but the injuries and pain they’ve suffered, the despair they’ve tasted, cannot be healed by a simple spell.

“We can’t live in the normal world,” Bison said with wide eyes, “That day, when Feng Lan patted my shoulder, I flung him hundreds of meters away. Luckily, he’s strong and wasn’t hurt.”

“We can’t control it,” Crocodile said.

The Atavists fell silent.

Who doesn’t want a home, a comfortable environment? But they are unable to enjoy this environment. They are outliers on this planet, unable to blend in with the normal Atavists.

Feng Lianzhu can save their bodies but not their hearts.

Hearing everyone’s words, Lizard turned around and said, “The issue of aggressive desires is manageable, temporary isolation, time will heal everything. Once we can control our aggressive desires, we’ll gradually integrate with the Atavists. This planet is still developing, we can do some hunting, explore the planet, and guard, such jobs will help us gradually coexist harmoniously with ordinary Atavists.”

“So you’ve already thought it through,” Unicorn said, “Then why didn’t you tell us?”

“I’ve been thinking about something,” Lizard scanned the group, “If we just stay on the Primitive Star, other Atavists will fear us, look at us through prejudiced eyes. We’ve killed people, turning from victims to perpetrators. In the process of interacting with Atavists, we’ll involuntarily look down on ourselves. I don’t want to have such thoughts.”

“What do you want to do?” Snake spat her tongue; she was a bit curious if her venom could kill the Lizard, known for his strong vitality. She had no hostility, just an uncontrollable urge trained into her.

“The Imperial Army’s major will gather evidence to take the people from the underground arena to court. I want to leave the Primitive Star and become a witness,” Lizard calmly scanned the group, “Only when we truly stand in court can the people of the alliance recognize the existence of Atavists.”
