Teacher Green Dragon’s Seven-Colored Flowers

As soon as Feng Lianzhu completed his mission, he inquired about Teacher Green Dragon’s opinion with the help of the system, asking if he was willing to teach a group of students with poor basics, slow learning speeds, and even violent tempers.

The system blocked network monitoring, and Teacher Green Dragon, lacking self-awareness, simply responded according to his programming by slapping his long tail and saying, “The teacher loves to instruct naughty students the most, to see who is the boss!”

Feng Lianzhu took Teacher Green Dragon’s response as agreement and told the system to secretly bring Teacher Green Dragon over after the Atavists established their nation.

After returning to the interstellar world with Fat Dragon, Teacher Green Dragon quietly stayed within the teaching network inside the Atavists’ independent nation.

All records of Teacher Green Dragon in the Alliance’s teaching network were erased by the system, and the Alliance could no longer find any information about Teacher Green Dragon.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge, Teacher Green Dragon arrived at the primitive star. After obtaining Teacher Green Dragon’s consent, Feng Lianzhu copied him multiple times, as there were too many students for just one Teacher Green Dragon to handle.

Different versions of Teacher Green Dragon were created based on the content taught, including the Enlightenment version, Elementary version, Middle School version, High School Arts and Science versions, and further on, various University specialty versions.

Teacher Green Dragon’s original body was responsible for teaching a few students chosen by Feng Lianzhu, such as Lizard and Dog 16, providing them with knowledge personally to help them become pillars of the Atavists’ independent nation.

Students like Lizard emerged from their network devices with pale faces each day, clearly heavily educated by Teacher Green Dragon.

In the real world, they were indeed strong, but in the network, Teacher Green Dragon was the most terrifying. Even knowing it was all simulated, they were afraid.

It was akin to a horror movie becoming a holographic immersive experience, where monsters inside would roar at you, madly knock their tails, and make you memorize vocabulary and solve math and science problems. Failing to complete homework would result in receiving a small black flower.

The small black flower would stick on the student’s forehead, making it known to everyone that they were punished by Teacher Green Dragon for not doing their homework properly, having to wear it for three days even offline, thereby, no one dared to skip their homework.

Teacher Green Dragon’s favorite students were Feng Lan and Unicorn, who often received small red and pink flowers, but they never received the rainbow flower that bloomed on Teacher Green Dragon’s head.

“Teacher, how can one receive the rainbow flower?” Unicorn raised his hand and asked, truly desiring that flower.

Unicorn had thought himself disinterested in studying, but after experiencing tasks such as the underground arena case, the abolition of the “Atavists Protection Act,” and leading the Atavists back to the primitive star, he realized the value of politics, law, and history, thus shifting from resistance to active learning, becoming a good student in Teacher Green Dragon’s eyes.

Thus, Unicorn’s direction of study aligned with Feng Lan. Feng Lan had already started learning in this area and performed much better, always receiving small red flowers, while Unicorn received small pink ones.

Among the Atavists, Feng Lan held more prestige than Unicorn. Despite Unicorn’s continuous efforts to soothe them over three months, once they arrived at the primitive star, Feng Lan’s rallying cry atop a mech instantly unified the people, relegating Unicorn’s status to second, with Feng Lan taking the lead.

Unicorn was determined to surpass Feng Lan, believing his experiences in the underground arena should make him superior. Falling behind in studies was just due to his poor basics; he doubled his efforts, yet still only received small pink flowers.

Rather than focusing on small red flowers, he aimed for the rainbow flower, to truly surpass Feng Lan.

Hearing Unicorn’s words, Teacher Green Dragon’s rainbow flower shimmered, as he proudly puffed his chest and swished his tail, saying, “That is something you will never obtain. The only one who gets the rainbow flower is my most outstanding student.”

After returning to the primitive star, Feng Lianzhu and Fat Dragon stayed hidden in their den, deciding to gradually withdraw from the Atavists’ affairs, letting them develop on their own. They would only intervene in matters the Atavists were currently incapable of handling. As for growth, planet construction, exploration, and annexation of nearby energy stars, and gradually improving various systems, these were tasks the Atavists needed to undertake themselves.

Interfering now would mean a lifetime of interference. Better to let them stand on their own from the start, to slowly grow and mature.

However, Feng Lianzhu wasn’t entirely hands-off; sometimes, he would secretly log into the Atavists’ planet-wide network and, with Teacher Green Dragon’s permission, become an observer in the classroom to check on the progress of students like Feng Lan and others.

When Unicorn asked his question, Feng Lianzhu was outside the classroom’s glass door, eavesdropping with Fat Dragon. Through the glass, they could see inside, but Feng Lan and the others couldn’t see them. Fat Dragon accompanied him both because Feng Lianzhu hoped he would learn something and because Fat Dragon was very clingy, insisting on being together even online.

They had listened to many lessons before, and Fat Dragon was quite satisfied with Teacher Green Dragon. Unaware of Teacher Green Dragon’s origins, he simply thought having a dragon-shaped teacher for the independent nation of the Atavists was pretty cool.

“Your most outstanding student?” Unicorn echoed back the question.

“Of course, it’s Feng Lianzhu,” Teacher Green Dragon said, joyfully causing the rainbow flower, which had always been in bud form on his head, to bloom outright at the mention of the name. “He was my first student. His personality is what I was programmed with. It only took him a few months to become the top scholar in the college entrance examination. His learning capability is very strong. My rainbow flower has only been given to him. It’s very hard for others to receive it.”

“Feng Lianzhu?” Feng Lan, who had trained himself to show no emotion, couldn’t help but wag his tail uncontrollably. “How can I earn the same honor as Master Feng Lianzhu?”

Feng Lan was a die-hard fan of Feng Lianzhu, secretly collecting things related to him and gradually imitating his behavior and temperament. The act of standing on top of the mech on the founding day was learned from Feng Lianzhu, who looked incredibly cool standing atop a battleship, intimidating the Imperial Army like Laurie with his mere presence, compelling Feng Lan to emulate him.

The effect was good, albeit a bit shaky. After that day’s speech, Feng Lan lay trembling on the ground in a secluded spot for a long time, whimpering softly until Dolphin 66 calmed him down after a while.

“I won’t be giving out this seven-colored flower anymore,” Teacher Green Dragon said stingily. “I want the entire primitive star’s Atavists to know that the rainbow flower belongs to Feng Lianzhu, after all, he is my favorite student, and there won’t be another I like more in the future.”

“Hmph,” Unicorn snorted softly, glancing at Feng Lan, thinking it seems he won’t be able to surpass this guy after all, only managing a draw at best.

After class, Feng Lan privately approached Unicorn, saying indifferently, “I’m glad you’re interested in pursuing a career in politics. The primitive star is in need of revitalization, and talents in all areas are lacking. Learning anything is beneficial for an independent nation. I hope we can get along well.”

He politely extended his hand to Unicorn, who slapped it away, saying, “I think you’re mistaken. We’re political rivals, opponents from now on.”

“Political rivalry is good,” Feng Lan replied, not angered, adopting Feng Lianzhu’s composed manner. “A country with only one voice would be a disaster. I’m not a saint, I can’t cover everything. If you have better ideas, you must bring them up, and I will listen with an open mind.”

“Hah, where are you not a saint? On the founding day, many Atavists began to idolize you,” Unicorn said with a hint of acidity.

Feng Lan was slightly stunned, “It’s just for show. Being up high is uncomfortable. There’s a lot of pressure in private, fearing that I might do something wrong and hinder the development of the primitive star.”

“I come from the underground arena. I was born with a strong capacity to withstand pressure. If you can’t hold on, we can switch,” Unicorn suggested with a raised eyebrow.

“If you truly do better, you can try,” Feng Lan said, holding a small red flower.

“It’s a deal,” Unicorn said, glancing at his small pink flower before turning away.

The relationship between these two political titans of the Atavists’ independent nation, both allies and rivals, was just beginning to take shape.

In the sacred land of the primitive star, near the Kirates’ nest in the bamboo forest, Feng Lianzhu was coaxing a little black dragon perched stubbornly on a bamboo, refusing to come down, “Don’t be angry. Teacher Green Dragon is my mentor, of course, he’s very important. But you are important too.”

Feng Lianzhu was exasperated; he hadn’t expected Fat Dragon to get so angry, demanding to smash the glass door and confront Teacher Green Dragon, scaring Feng Lianzhu into quickly embracing him, and they logged off together.

After logging off, Fat Dragon transformed into a small dragon, spread his wings, and flew away. Feng Lianzhu chased after him, finally finding him in the bamboo forest, where Fat Dragon was perched on a bamboo, presenting his backside to Feng Lianzhu.

Feng Lianzhu felt it necessary to teach Fat Dragon about various emotions. He flew onto the branch, used the wind to support himself, and carefully sat next to the black dragon, gently persuading, “You’ve had limited interactions with others, and probably the only person you like is me. You may not know that emotions are divided into many types: kinship, friendship, love, teacher-student relationships, and many others. My relationship with Teacher Green Dragon is that of a teacher and student. I have only one master, so naturally, I regard him as both a teacher and a father, respecting and loving him.

“As for you, it’s a different kind of emotion.”

While speaking, Feng Lianzhu placed his hand on the tip of the little black dragon’s tail. Seeing that he didn’t withdraw it, he continued, “I long to be with you, wishing to be by your side at all times. No matter how tired, just thinking of you brings me relief. I hold you dear in my heart, sharing my brain, life, and soul with you. A teacher-student relationship is like kinship, like friendship, but neither has anything to do with love. You can’t weigh two completely different things on the same scale.”

He took out a gold coin engraved with a little dragon, kissed it, and said, “Just as for you, I can’t compare to a gold coin, right?”

“Here, take them all!” Upon mentioning gold coins, Fat Dragon exploded, pulling out the eighty million gold coins he had obtained from the alliance, piling them up until the entire bamboo forest was covered.

Feng Lianzhu was unexpectedly showered in gold coins, puzzled by Fat Dragon’s sudden action.

The black dragon turned around, transformed into a human shape, and hugged Feng Lianzhu, murmuring, “You’re more important than gold coins. I’m giving all the gold coins to you, and you’re not allowed to look at other dragons.”

Feng Lianzhu’s heart melted, and he hugged Fat Dragon back: “In my eyes, you’re also the most important, more important than the entire universe. I’m just not sure what your feelings for me are.”

“Love, teach me,” Fat Dragon nuzzled into Feng Lianzhu’s neck.

“Then… shall we try?” Feng Lianzhu kissed Fat Dragon’s lips, and they tumbled from the tree, falling onto the gold coins.

A breeze blew, scattering countless bamboo leaves over the gold coins, unwilling to part.

Feng Lianzhu lay on the gold coins, holding his waist, thinking how lucky it was that Fat Dragon had life energy, otherwise, even he might have fallen apart.

Pang Kirates held Feng Lianzhu close, contentedly nuzzling him, “It’s love.”
