The thirteen-section whip moved swiftly like a silver serpent. The man held Huo Ren’s wrist firmly, his voice cold.

Pei Ruye didn’t answer directly. Instead, he shifted the force in his hand, making the ferocious long whip, which resembled a torture device, obediently dance around them like a graceful bird in the mirrors. It looked like a magical performance.
