The matter of the wedding had been discussed several times, revolving around the process, venue, and scale, among other issues.

Bo Jue originally thought he would be the one to fuss over it, but surprisingly, Long Jia was even more fastidious, studying the wedding plannerโ€™s cake catalog even during company meetings.

The group call was made numerous times, and the other four were happy to participate, offering plenty of advice.

It wasnโ€™t until Xie Lianyun remembered something: โ€œHow did your parents react?โ€

โ€œ…!โ€

โ€œI mean,โ€ Xie Lianyun had a bad feeling: โ€œYou two are planning to get married, you havenโ€™t told your families yet, have you?โ€

It wasnโ€™t about intentionally hiding it; they had just been too busy with other matters that even finding time for a meal together seemed scarce, let alone discussing other things.

Realizing his attitude was extremely improper, Long Jia decided to drag Bo Jue home to meet the parents that very night.

โ€”They had met many times before, and he had even secretly told his family how much he really, really liked that person, urging them to treat him well.

By now, Bo Jue felt like his head was about to explode.

He wasnโ€™t worried about his own parents; same-sex marriage had been common in Europe for a long time, so there wouldnโ€™t be a problem.

The real issue was his foolish younger brother…

After discussing, they decided to first prepare their families individually, then introduce their partners.

Bo Huan rarely came home twice a year. Busy with DIVINE to the point of exhaustion, even going out for a drink with friends required dodging paparazzi.

When the whole family was together, they celebrated Christmas two months early. Bo Jue started by cooking dinner himself, then casually mentioned during drinks that he planned to marry.

He hoped the atmosphere would stay calm, especially to keep Bo Huan stable.

The Bo parents were stunned for a moment, then sighed in relief and smilingly asked when the Long familyโ€™s boy would come over.

Bo Huan, who had been happily drinking, nearly choked.

His eyes reddened in an instant, and he whimpered quietly, staying silent.

โ€œItโ€™s both of us getting married, not just me marrying off,โ€ Bo Jue said dryly: โ€œNothing will change, Huan can find me anytime.โ€

โ€œItโ€™s not the same!โ€

The Bo parents patted him comfortingly, reminiscing: โ€œWhen Huan used to watch you practice piano by the window, he said he wanted to grow up fast and marry his brother.โ€

Bo Huan sat up straight, his face flushing: โ€œI never said that, back then my brother didnโ€™t even care about me.โ€

โ€œSo, about the weddingโ€ฆโ€

Bo Huan quickly hugged his brother tightly, nuzzling against him.

โ€œJust console me a little longer, please?โ€

Meanwhile, Long Jia also broke the news to his family.

His older siblings looked at him sympathetically, as if their expressions were saying, ‘Youโ€™ve finally made it to this day.’

The Long family parents had always been open-minded; they had discreetly helped when they first knew of their sonโ€™s affections, informing him whenever Professor Bo attended a reception or lecture.

But above the parents, there was Grandfather Long.

Grandfather Long was stubborn and conservative. When they sent Long Jia abroad for studies, there had been trouble, even forcibly retaining his school registration so the grandson could return to study at any time.

This caused a laughable incident, with someone pretending to be an ex-girlfriend trying to gain some fame by association.

โ€œNo matter what, marriage is a big deal, we should find a time to take Bo over to meet grandfather.โ€

Long Jia nodded in agreement, then headed to Professor Boโ€™s office to seriously ask when he was free.

Professor Bo, who was just sternly grading papers a second ago, suddenly became flustered.

โ€œYour grandfather… is he fierce?โ€

โ€œHe doesnโ€™t bite,โ€ Long Jia said with a laugh and a shrug: โ€œRelax, youโ€™re acting like you want to jump out the window and run away.โ€

A group of students secretly watched from the office window, unexpectedly fed a mouthful of dog food again.

Despite this, they still went.

Grandfather Long sat at the head of the table, taking a sip of tea, and was immediately impressed at first sight.

“This young lady has such a good temperament, clearly coming from a family of scholars.”

Long Jia, trying to hold back a laugh, squeezed Bo Jue’s hand and said openly, “Grandfather, he is also a boy.”

Grandfather Long choked on his tea, coughing violently.

The parents beside him patted his back and eased his breathing, saying that nowadays, boys and girls are the same, and as long as Jia Jia is happy, that’s what matters.

Grandfather Long looked bewildered, turning to his granddaughter Long Di: “You brought a girl home two years ago, argued with me for half a year, and then got marriedโ€”now your brother too? Did he learn this from you?”

“Not at all,” Long Di lazily waved her hand: “They’ve been together almost ten years.”

“Besides, our eldest brother already has three kids, what else could you possibly be unsatisfied with, Grandfather?”

Mother Long chimed in, “I heard that men can apparently use rice cookers to have childrenโ€””

Bo Jue choked for a moment, coughing briefly, his face heating up.

“Don’t worry, don’t worry,” Long Jia hurriedly soothed: “We donโ€™t need a rice cooker, itโ€™s okay.”

Grandfather Long adjusted his glasses, still puzzled.

“Once you entered, you held his hand and didnโ€™t let go. If anyone should be afraid, Jia Jia, it would be you, wouldnโ€™t it?”

Long Jia looked enlightened: “Grandfather, I truly love him.”

“I’ve loved him for many years, and I want to marry him in this lifetime.”

“Alright,” Grandfather Long sighed leisurely: “If your parents have nothing to say about it, my hands are tied.”

“Pick a good day, letโ€™s make it lively.”

They decided on February 14th for the registration and February 15th for the wedding banquet.

Bo Jue’s birthday was on August 8th, and at that time, people from here would travel to Vienna to have another Western-style wedding ceremony by the snowy mountains and grasslands.

After much deliberation about the wedding attire, they finally asked Qin Lu’s friend, Aโ€™Yu, to customize a set in gold and red, a Tang-style outfit that wasnโ€™t overly flamboyant, complemented by a light red veil.

Men have their own elegance and grace, and with Bo Jueโ€™s long hair reaching his waist, uncommon among others, he was especially suited to this attire.

On the evening of the wedding banquet, numerous esteemed guests gathered together, and the line to toast was almost endless.

The gifts from a few close friends, as always, were the most thoughtful and tender.

Mei Shengyao personally made an album, stuffing it with all the photos they had taken together over the years, including many of the six of them.

Thinking it still not enough, he also wrote a thick letter, crying towards the end, filled with genuine and deeply felt emotions.

Chi Ji accompanied Bo Jue to repeatedly try on wedding clothes, then custom-made a whole set of headpieces for him, with gold and jade interspersed among shining coral, unspeakably magnificent and beautiful.

“Brother Jue, I’ll come help you style your hair on your wedding day.”

Before giving his gift, Xie Lianyun made a special trip to find Huo Ren.

Ren Ren was already preparing to go abroad for studies, flying to the United States next month.

“Have you talked things through with Brother Long about that matter?”

“What matter?”

Xie Lianyun, always attentive, knew many things were no longer hidden, only worried about any unresolved issues between him and Long Jia.

“The matter of disbanding the group, I was the one who initiated it with the company.”

He pushed his glasses up, very calm when taking responsibility.

“I told Director Su and the others, if Chi Chi left and we didnโ€™t disband, it would hurt every time the five of us saw each other, eventually leading to us avoiding one another.”

“If we say it’s after the dissolution, and we all go to see Ren Ren together, at least there’s a reason everyone can accept.”

“Your Brother Long disagreed from the start, fearing it would hurt you, fearing you couldn’t move on.”

“Boss Pei went directly with his elder brother to find him, to discuss what to do now, which identity he needed the most at that time.”

“Ren Ren, Long Jia has never given up on you, nor has he ever betrayed you.”

“He signed because he believed we would all get through that period, emerge from indulgence, and wait until today.”

Fox’s eyes, usually nonchalant, became stern, not mingled with any confusion.

“He trusts you, trusts us, that’s why he signed.”

Huo Ren remained silent for a long time, slowly nodding his head.

Then he turned and walked out.

Xie Lianyun immediately panicked, “Ren Ren, where are you goingโ€””

“Buying a new gift,” said Little White Wolf without turning back, “The previous one wasn’t good enough, I want to prepare the best for Brother Long!”

“What was the previous giftโ€””

“A limited edition diamond watch!”

“Then give it to me!! Ren Ren!! Whatever you give!!”

On the day of the wedding, Xie Lianyun, true to his usual style, wrote a congratulatory symphony by hand on a musical staff for Bo Jue.

The official title was “Xie’s Wedding Symphony No. 1,” nicknamed “Bo Jue, go live peacefully with Brother Long, soak your feet more, argue less, may you forever be on honeymoon, forever seventeen, muah.”

He also arranged for a group of students to perform a full orchestral set on site, rivaling the philharmonic orchestra in effect.

Bo Jue listened more before entering, rarely nodding in approval.

“It’s a song written with great effort, not a single flaw.”

Mei Shengyao, holding the long veil and yawning, said, “It’s only because I corrected it well.”

Chi Ji adjusted his mask, looking around and asking, “Where’s Ren Ren?”

Long Jia was also searching, wondering why his brother hadn’t arrived yet.

A few minutes later, a figure hurried over, clutching something.

“Slow down, slow down,” Long Jia, holding Bo Jue with one hand, went over to stop him: “Your brother is here, be careful running so fast, you might fall.”

Huo Ren didn’t speak, just hugged them tightly, as if trying to squeeze all the air out of their lungs.

Then he carefully presented a gift box to the six people in front of him, cautiously opening it.

It turned out to be a pair of figures carved from aquamarine.

“Brother Long, Brother Jue, this is from the concert… the time you kissed the back of the hand.” Huo Ren spoke quickly, his cheeks still flushed from running too fast: “Brother, I… I misunderstood you before… I’m sorry.”

Long Jia rubbed his head vigorously, “Drink more later!”

As the wedding banquet started, when everyone clearly saw the two grooms, they couldn’t help but praise inwardly.

They matched each other so well, how could they look so good!

Long Jia, who usually grabbed his hair casually, was always charming, nurtured in luxury from a young age.

Today, even more dignified and distinguished.

Bo Jue’s long hair was styled in a half-draped manner, coral and pearls shining brilliantly among his black hair, making his complexion as warm as jade.

They bowed to heaven and earth, then to the high hall.

Then, looking at each other, their smiles could not be concealed even by the red veil.

“The newlyweds bow to each otherโ€””

Actually, it was only today that Long Jia saw Bo Jue’s attire for the first time; he had been rendered speechless several times upon entering, and now his eyes were slightly moist.

He couldn’t help but speak up, silently saying, “I love you so much.”

Bo Jue nodded gently, his eyes tender.

He too spoke silently, his lips forming the words.

“I love you so much too.”

Friends and relatives cheered and clapped, parents nodded in relief.

They bowed to each other from a distance, their smiles as brilliant as the endless lights of the evening.

  1. Could someone explain to me why Huo Ren is upset about Long Jiaโ€™s agreeing to disband? Am I missing something here? To me it makes sense that they should disband but why was HR upset with LJ vs the others?

    1. I’m not sure 100% sure either. But I have 2 scenarios: 1) Huo Ren is more “angry” towards Long Jia because Long Jia is the eldest and thus he has to take care and be an example for the other 5 people. Or 2) Huo Ren is disappointed in Long Jia because he feels that he gave up too easily, probably believing that he already has the alternative of going back to his original place (being a rich second generation), while the rest don’t have the option of doing anything other than music/entertainment. But again, this hasn’t really been explained clearly imo.

  2. Long-get and Bo-ge should have starred in an costume drama together. They would have looked so good!
